Our client asked us to come out for an estimate on cleaning their 30-year-old deck. The deck was grayed out and was moldy green. We inspected the wood, and it was pressure-treated pine. We got our Deck Restoration Plus water-based sealer ordered and started cleaning the deck. We began the wood cleaning process with our strong base to remove the dead grayed-out wood fibers and the green mold. We washed the deck afterward and then applied our strong acid to balance the pH and give the wood that 'pop,' as you can see in the pictures. This also opens up the wood fibers so that our water-based sealer would have a better chance of adhering to the surface longer. We then applied Moorestown Brown to the wood and repainted the wood railings white to give the deck a two-tone look!
